Job Title: Arabic Chef
Job Summary:
The Arabic Chef is responsible for preparing authentic Arabic cuisine while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. The role requires expertise in traditional Middle Eastern recipes, efficient kitchen operations, and consistency in taste and portion control.
Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare and cook a wide range of traditional Arabic dishes and desserts.
*Ensure authenticity, flavor consistency, and quality of all food served.
*Plan menus and daily specials in coordination with management.
*Maintain proper food storage, portion control, and waste management.
*Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times
*Monitor kitchen inventory and assist with ingredient ordering
*Train and supervise kitchen assistants when required
*Ensure timely preparation and service during busy periods
*Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
Requirements & Qualifications:
*Proven experience as an Arabic Chef or similar role
*Strong knowledge of Arabic/Middle Eastern cuisine and spicies
*Ability to prepare food in large quantities while maintaining quality
*Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
*Ability to work under pressure in a fast- paced environment
*Good time management and organizational skills
*Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Skills & Competencies:
Expertise in traditional Arabic cooking techniques
Teamwork and leadership skills
Creativity in menu development
Strong work ethic and reliability
Work Environment
Restaurant / Hotel / Catering / Private Household
