A leading restaurant group is looking for assistant restaurant manager, captain, waiters/waitress.

Assistant Restaurant Manager

Plan and analyze the restaurant sales and profitability and take required action to increase them.

Prepare schedules for all employees according to the forecast and within the limits of the Manning guide to ensure adequate manpower at all times and under the guidance of the Outlet Manager.

Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all areas within the assigned outlet.

Ensure sanitary conditions according to health and restaurant standards.

Supervise the daily operation under standards by Outlet Manager.

Define training needs and propose training programs in co-relation with Outlet Manager and continuously train subordinates to achieve highest level of professionalism.

Ensure correct handling of equipment to minimize breakages and losses.

Maximize productivity through effective scheduling ,well trained and motivated team members.

Captain

Responsible for opening and closing of the outlet.

Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china-ware etc through the shift.

Perform shift closing on the POS terminal and tell cash and credit card settlement.

Taking an active role in coaching and developing junior staff.

Handling Guest complaints

Take orders from guests for food and beverages and forward orders to kitchen staff.

Ordering equipment's for home delivery

Checking and ensuring product validity

Checking the quality and quantity of food before the food will be served to the customers.

Make sure restaurants needs for operation.

Maintaining SOP's for quality

Ensure highest level of hygiene among waiter and waitresses.

Runners/Waiters

Maintain and implement a high level of Sanitation Standards as per the restaurant s operating procedures at the work station and side work areas. The job holder must ensure that the floor, under-tables, passages, chairs, sofas and displays are well cleaned.

Stay in charge of the tables and provide an efficient service to the guests while maintaining a high level of organization which will have an impact on the tables turnover.

Ensure that the Food and Beverage items are provided to the guests in a timely manner.

Posses a thorough knowledge of the tables and station numbers; and continuously assist the supervisor in the assigned stations as well as other stations to ensure the presence of a highly effective, timely and efficient service throughout the restaurant.

Respond to guests questions and inquiries in a polite and a positive manner; answer as accurately as possible.

Always inform the direct manager/supervisor of the presence of an unsatisfied guest.

Maintain a professional physical (personal) appearance as per the specifications of the dress code, hygiene, cleanliness, and uniform to ensure that they are up to the company s standards.

Support team members whenever required as per operational needs and requirements.
