Job Description
The Chef de Partie – Plating & Presentation is responsible for the visual execution and final presentation of dishes, with a strong focus on Middle Eastern and Persian culinary aesthetics. This role ensures that every plate reflects cultural authenticity, artistic elegance, and the restaurant’s brand standards, enhancing the overall guest dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute visually appealing plating and food presentation inspired by Middle Eastern and Persian cuisine
Apply traditional and modern presentation techniques using regional colors, textures, garnishes, and serving styles
Ensure consistency in presentation across all dishes during service
Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain authentic cultural representation
Inspect dishes for accuracy, portion control, cleanliness, and visual excellence before service
Create presentation concepts for new menu items, specials, and seasonal offerings
Maintain high standards during busy service periods without compromising quality
Ensure all presentation practices meet food safety and hygiene standards
Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience in Middle Eastern and/or Persian cuisine
Strong understanding of cultural food aesthetics, traditional plating styles, and modern interpretations
Creative eye for detail, balance, and elegance
Ability to work efficiently in a fast- paced kitchen environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
