Job Title: Highly Experienced Chocolate and Pastry Chef

Location: Shuwaikh, Kuwait

Salary: To be discussed at interview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Chocolate and Pastry Chef to lead and elevate our craft in a dynamic chocolate company. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in luxury/precision chocolate and pastry production, strong leadership, and a passion for innovative confections.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the chocolate and pastry production, ensuring high- quality, consistent products.

Develop and execute new chocolate and pastry concepts, recipes, and seasonal menus.

Oversee dessert plating, presentation, and quality control across all outlets or events.

Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, sourcing of ingredients, costing, and waste control.

Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and food safety standards (HACCP/GHP where applicable).

Train and mentor junior chefs and pastry staff; schedule and performance management.

Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales teams on product development and launches.

Maintain equipment and tools, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience:

Professional experience in chocolate and pastry production, preferably in luxury, hotel, boutique, or high- end confectionery settings.

Expertise in chocolate tempering, molding, enrobing, piping, sugar work, and luxury pastry techniques.

Strong portfolio of published/conceived chocolate and pastry creations.

Leadership experience with a proven ability to train and manage a team.

Excellent palate, attention to detail, creativity, and time- management skills.

Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Fluency in English; additional language skills (Arabic) a plus.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Kuwaiti or transferable work eligibility preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Food- related culinary certifications or degrees (e.g., Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, Chocolate Specialization).

Experience with high- end packaging and product presentation.

Experience in cost control, menu engineering, and vendor negotiations.
