Job Description

The Commis 3 works as part of the BEAR kitchen team to support daily preparation, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and ensure consistent food quality. This role focuses on proper food handling, accurate preparation, and maintaining BEAR’s standards for burger production and fast- food operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleanliness & Hygiene: Maintain clean workstations, tools, equipment, and kitchen floors throughout the shift according to BEAR standards.

• Food Safety & Quality: Follow all food safety guidelines, proper storage, temperature control, and prevent cross- contamination to ensure product consistency.

• Cutting & Preparation: Chop vegetables, prepare ingredients, portion patties, and organize items needed for daily production.

• Line Setup: Prepare stations with the required ingredients and tools before the shift starts.

• Cleaning Duties: Wash dishes, clean equipment after use, and ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and organized at the end of each shift.

• Equipment Handling: Assemble and disassemble catering equipment, clean tools, and correctly use grills, fryers, hot plates, and other kitchen machinery.

• Production Support: Assist cooks with basic cooking tasks when needed and follow instructions accurately.

• Work Under Pressure: Perform tasks quickly and efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality.

• Burger Standards Compliance: Follow BEAR’s exact procedures for burger preparation (weight, seasoning, cooking time, temperature, assembling).

• Reporting: Communicate any issues related to food quality, equipment, or stock levels to the supervisor.



Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a fast- food kitchen or restaurant is preferred (not mandatory).

• Strong understanding of cleanliness, personal hygiene, and basic food safety rules (HACCP knowledge is a plus).

• Basic cutting, preparation, and burger- handling skills.

• Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen tasks.

• Fast learner with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

• Ability to work under pressure during busy hours.

• Strong organization and station- setup skills.

• Punctual, reliable, and committed to work schedules.

• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.

• Ability to handle equipment, perform simple assembly/disassembly, and follow safety procedures.
