Commis Chef (Burger Section) Needed

Job Summary

The Commis Chef is responsible for preparing, cooking, and assembling burgers and related menu items according to company recipes, quality standards, and food safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients, sauces, burger patties, and garnishes as per recipes.

Cook burgers and menu items to the required quality and presentation standards.

Ensure consistency in taste, portion control, and food presentation.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation at all times.

Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of any shortages.

Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating stock using FIFO procedures.

Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Ensure all equipment is used and maintained properly.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a burger restaurant, fast- food outlet, or similar kitchen environment.

Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.

Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

Ability to work in a fast- paced environment.

Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
