A leading company based in Kuwait is seeking a Compliance officer to ensure that company complies with its outside regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal policies and bylaws.

Main responsibilities:

•Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program.

•Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them.

•Draft and revise company policies.

•Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses.

•Evaluate business activities to assess compliance risk.

•Collaborate with external auditors when needed.

•Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices.

•Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals.

•Development of a risk assessment framework

Requirements:

•3- 5 years of experience in similar field.

•Should be bilingual.

•Bachelor’s degree in any field.

•Strong numerical and analytical skills.

•Experience in risk management.

•Excellent communication skills.

•Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g. Anti- Money Laundering, or AML).

•Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards.

•Integrity and professional ethics.
