Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in company formation procedures, regulatory compliance, and Capital Markets Authority (CMA) regulations. The role requires ensuring that the company’s operations and business activities comply with all relevant laws, internal policies, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the company’s full compliance with CMA regulations, Central Bank and other relevant authorities.

Oversee and manage company formation and licensing processes with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and CMA.

Draft, review, and update compliance policies and internal procedures.

Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and internal audits.

Monitor and report on regulatory changes and advise management accordingly.

Prepare and submit reports and disclosures to regulatory bodies as required.

Provide compliance training and awareness sessions to staff.

Liaise with external regulators, auditors, and legal advisors when necessary.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certification is an advantage).

3–5 years of experience in compliance, preferably within the financial services or investment sector.

In- depth knowledge of Kuwait’s Capital Markets Authority (CMA) laws, company establishment procedures, and corporate governance requirements.

Strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations and regulatory reporting standards.

Excellent communication and reporting skills in both Arabic and English.

High attention to detail, integrity, and analytical thinking.

Preferred Qualifications:

CMA Certification or equivalent compliance qualification.

Previous experience working in a licensed investment or brokerage firm.

Familiarity with corporate structuring and regulatory filings in Kuwait.
