Cost Accountant Opportunity in Kuwait

We’re on the lookout for a talented Cost Accountant/ Cost Accounting Engineer to join our dynamic team at a leading plastic manufacturing company in Kuwait.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze cost records and prepare cost reports to support decision- making
2. Monitor and control production costs, material consumption, and labor expenses
3. Conduct variance analysis between standard costs and actual costs
4. Maintain and update cost databases, cost sheets, and BOM (Bill of Materials)
5. Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate cost data
6. Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure cost accuracy
7. Perform monthly and annual closing related to cost accounting
8. Assist in setting standard costs and updating cost structures in ODOO ERP
9. Review inventory movements and conduct periodic inventory reconciliations
10. Ensure compliance with internal controls, cost policies, and accounting standards
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
· Minimum of 4 years of professional experience with ODOO or similar ERPs.
· Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
· Any Professional Certifications like CCM /CCP are a Plus.
