Curry & Tandoor Chef Needed in Kuwait

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of Indian curries (veg and non- veg) to high standards

Operate and manage the tandoor section, including breads and grilled items

Prepare marinades, sauces, and spice blends according to recipes and standards

Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation across all dishes

Monitor food quality, freshness, and kitchen hygiene at all times

Manage mise en place and ensure readiness for service periods

Coordinate with head chef and kitchen team for smooth operations

Maintain proper storage and labeling of ingredients

Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines strictly

Assist in menu development and introducing modern Indian elements when required

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Curry Chef, Tandoor Chef, or similar role

Strong knowledge of Indian spices, gravies, and cooking techniques

Hands- on experience operating a traditional clay tandoor oven

Ability to work efficiently in a fast- paced kitchen

Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

Team player with good communication skills

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Skills:

Experience in modern or fusion Indian cuisine

Knowledge of regional Indian dishes (North Indian, Mughlai, etc.)

Ability to manage inventory and reduce food waste

Creative approach to plating and presentation
