Job Title: Electrical Draftsman

Part time \ Full time

Job Purpose:

To prepare accurate and detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts for electrical projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and project requirements.

The Draftsman will support the design and engineering team in delivering high- quality electrical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and develop AutoCAD/Revit drawings for electrical and lighting systems, including single- line diagrams, wiring layouts, and load schedules.

Interpret design inputs from engineers, architects, and consultants into precise technical drawings.

Draft lighting layouts, power layouts, control wiring diagrams, and panel schedules in accordance with project specifications.

Coordinate with engineers and site teams to incorporate revisions and resolve design conflicts.

Maintain and update drawing registers, documentation, and drawing submittals.

Ensure drawings comply with local authority regulations MEW, international standards, and client requirements.

Preparing shop drawings, as- built drawings, and coordination drawings with other disciplines (MEP, architectural, civil).

Support material take- offs (MTOs) and quantity estimations from drawings when required.

Review and check drawings for accuracy before submission.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field.

2–5 years of drafting experience, preferably in lighting or MEP projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) and knowledge of Revit/ BIM (preferred).

Familiarity with electrical and lighting design principles, layouts, and standards.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under deadlines.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Any previous experience with MEW power- plants projects or K- companies is an advantage.
