ELV Project Engineer (with Kuwait driver's license)

Role

1. Manages the installation, testing, and commissioning of integrated building systems, including Structured Cabling, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Lighting Control, and Audio- Visual (AV) Systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise site installation, testing, and commissioning of all ELV systems.

2. Coordinate work schedules with main contractors, MEP consultants, and subcontractors.

3. Review engineering shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and technical material submittals.

4. Resolve on- site technical discrepancies and engineering design conflicts.

5. Program head- end equipment for security, automation, and AV systems.

6. Prepare progress reports, method statements, and project close- out documentation.

Core Technical Expertise

1. Structured Cabling: Copper/fiber backbone design, containment pathing, MDF/IDF rack layout, and Fluke testing (TIA/EIA standards).

2. CCTV & Access Control: IP cameras, VMS configuration, biometric readers, controllers, and turnstiles.

3. Fire Alarm Systems: Addressable panels, detectors, and integration with HVAC and PA/VA systems.

4. Lighting Control & AV: KNX- based Lighting Control System, PA, and AV systems.

5. Integrations: Integrations with the IBMS system using various protocols.

Education and Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering.

2. Experience: 4–7 years of experience in handling ELV projects.

3. Certifications: BICSI, AVIXA, Cisco, or major ELV vendor certifications are preferred.

4. Kuwait Driving License & KSE Membership

5. Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Visio, and system configuration tools.
