We are currently seeking qualified and experienced personnel for a 2- year contract in the Oil & Gas sector in Kuwait for the following categories.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be currently available in Kuwait, Transferable residency (Transferable visa) is mandatory, Relevant Oil & Gas / Petrochemical experience is preferred.

A. Engineer

Job Role

Responsible for independently performing technical activities under the AIV Contract, with primary focus on activities related to the Emerging and Intermediate Development stages.

Job Purpose

Execute AIV project activities and participate in project scoping based on identified technical challenges. Perform laboratory and modeling activities as defined within the project scope and support project delivery through coordination with external strategic partners.

Key Functions

1. Technology Roadmap

• Participate in the development of the RCD/TM Roadmap, including challenge scoping, validation, and prioritization.

2. Project Delivery (In- house & External)

• Execute and coordinate RCD activities within assigned projects to achieve defined objectives and timelines under supervision of senior personnel.

• Conduct literature reviews and evaluate project- related information.

• Support identification of collaborators for execution of RCD projects.

• Coordinate collection of samples/data with asset personnel and ensure quality assurance.

• Operate laboratory equipment relevant to research activities.

• Analyze samples and data through laboratory work, pilot plants, models, and/or asset operations.

• Maintain technical records and prepare research reports.

• Contribute to publication and evaluation of project findings.

• Participate in Intellectual Property (IP) initiatives related to RCD outcomes.

• Execute collaborative RCD projects at external facilities.

• Lead project follow- up meetings and review deliverables.

• Maintain awareness of latest industry developments and communicate findings internally.

• Participate in seminars, conferences, workshops, and professional societies.

• Author and co- author technical papers and publications.

3. General Duties

Responsible for planning programs and recommending procedures for geological aspects of operations under the AIV Contract.

Key Functions

• Plan geological programs and drilling- related procedures.

• Perform wellsite geological duties and prepare geological reports.

• Conduct laboratory evaluations of well cuttings and cores.

• Compile and correlate geological data from logs and other sources.

• Prepare stratigraphic, structural, and reservoir volumetric maps.

• Analyze well logs and integrate reservoir studies using computer techniques.

• Develop structural and lithological maps and cross- sections.

• Evaluate sedimentary basins for hydrocarbon accumulation.

• Integrate geological and geophysical data for prospect generation.

• Develop exploration strategies, feasibility studies, and budgets.

• Conduct hydrocarbon exploration using modern geophysical methods.

• Apply risk management practices and comply with HSEMS requirements.

Job Purpose

Lead, plan, and execute RCD projects within multidisciplinary environments supporting Kuwait’s Upstream Oil & Gas sector. Participate in defining the RCD/TM roadmap and collaboration strategies.

Key Functions

1. Technology Roadmap

• Participate in roadmap development, challenge validation, and project prioritization.

• Define project charters and support overall RCD direction.

2. RCD Planning

• Advise on project execution methodology (in- house or external collaboration).

• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.

3. RCD Project Delivery

• Lead project definition and execution with asset personnel.

• Present proposals to Technical Advisory Committees.

• Organize project kick- off meetings and finalize plans.

• Review collection and validation of samples and data.

• Supervise laboratory experiments and numerical modeling.

• Review technical reports and publications.

• Monitor external collaboration projects and ensure compliance.
