Engineer (Operations & Technical Coordinator)

Job Purpose

To support the General Manager in daily technical, commercial, procurement, logistics, and operational activities while ensuring uninterrupted workflow

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical & Project Coordination

Follow up on client technical inquiries, RFQs, Tenders, and project requirements

Prepare and track PQRs, technical submittals, compliance documents, and approvals

Coordinate with workshop for job progress, fabrication status, repairs, and delivery schedules

Support troubleshooting for urgent client/site issues

2. Commercial Support

Prepare quotations, proposals, tender submissions, and vendor registrations

Handle online portal inquiries for Oil & Gas Companies, and other clients

Track bid deadlines, approvals, and commercial documentation

Coordinate with finance for invoicing, LPOs, and payment- related documentation

3. Logistics & Procurement

Follow up with freight forwarders, customs agents, and shipping lines

Monitor shipment schedules, import/export documents, and delivery timelines

Coordinate procurement activities for materials, spare parts, and consumables

Ensure timely supplier communication and order tracking

4. Administrative & Management Support

Handle urgent operational decisions within approved authority

Coordinate between workshop, finance, procurement, and customers

Maintain proper records of projects, shipments, and client communications

5. Compliance & Documentation

Maintain ISO / QA documentation

Ensure document control for technical and commercial files

Monitor certifications, approvals, and contractual obligations
