Job Summary:

The Erection Engineer is responsible for the supervision and coordination of erection and installation activities at construction sites. This includes overseeing the assembly of steel structures, heavy machinery, and other equipment. The role ensures compliance with safety standards, quality, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Coordination:

.Plan and schedule the erection process in coordination with project teams.

Review and interpret detailed engineering drawings, plans, and

specifications.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials and

equipment.

.Supervision:

.Oversee on- site erection teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is executed

as per project requirements.

.Ensure proper installation of steel structures, machinery, and other

equipment, following safety protocols.

.Monitor the progress of work and ensure it is completed within the timeline

and budget.

Quality Control:

.Inspect work to ensure it meets engineering standards and project

specifications.

.Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards during the

erection process.

.Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during installation.

Documentation and Reporting:

.Maintain accurate records of installation work, including material usage,

labor, and equipment.

.Report daily progress to the Project Manager or Site Manager.

Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements, and other technical

documentation.

Health and Safety Compliance:

.Ensure the team follows all health and safety guidelines and maintains a safe

working environment.

.Conduct safety meetings and briefings for workers on- site.

Address and mitigate potential safety hazards during the erection process.

Technical Support:

.Provide technical support to the site teams to resolve any construction

issues related to erection.

Liaise with design and engineering teams to implement changes if necessary.

Qualifications:

.Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering .experience in construction, steel structure erection, or related field.

.Knowledge of construction and erection standards and codes.

.Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.

.Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.

.Ability to lead and supervise teams effectively.
