HIRING PRODUCTION MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

In production environment, a water shells (often referring to shell- and- tube heat exchangers or water treatment shells/vessels) technician is responsible for the critical infrastructure that manages process water, sanitation, and byproduct cooling.

Core Responsibilities

• System Maintenance: Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on water- related systems, including pumps, motors, and the "shells" (vessels) of water treatment or cooling units.

• Wastewater Management: Operating treatment systems such as Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) or Reverse Osmosis (RO) to process the high- organic- load wastewater typical of slaughterhouses.

• Equipment Calibration: Regularly checking and calibrating water quality monitors and instrumentation to ensure compliance with health and environmental regulations.

• Operational Continuity: Rapidly troubleshooting failures in valves or pumps to prevent production delays, as slaughterhouses rely on consistent water flow for hygiene and cooling.

• Sanitation & Safety: Ensuring that the water used for direct product contact and facility cleaning meets strict food safety standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with single and three- phase pumps, motors, drives, and control circuits.

• Mechanical Aptitude: Experience with pipefitting, welding, or industrial maintenance of heat exchangers and boilers.

• Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of local sanitary and environmental requirements for industrial wastewater.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to work in wet, humid, or cold environments often found in meat processing plants.
