# Hiring - Senior Virtual Environment Specialist (VMware)

At least (5) years of experience in the field of technical support and virtual infrastructure management and performing all functions and tasks that would ensure the operation of the VMware virtual environment at the appropriate speed while providing the necessary security factors for it and solving

* Certified in VMware

* Possess strong VMware vSphere administration experience in a Production environment with in depth Knowledge In VMware.

Hands on experience on:

1. Create and Manage Standard Switches, NIC teaming of a standard switch port group

2. Configure and Managing Virtual Storage, Create and Manage VMFS datastores

3. Create and manage virtual machine snapshots

4. Perform vSphere vMotion and vSphere Storage vMotion migrations

5. Create VMware vSphere vApp, Control user access through roles and permissions

6. Configure and manage resource pools, Configure and manage a vSphere HA cluster

7. vSphere Fault Tolerance on virtual machines

8. vSphere Data Protection to back up and restore data

9. Boot- from- SAN, Configure Virtual SAN networking

10. Configure a Virtual SAN cluster, Configure storage- based policies

11. Create a stretched cluster using a two- node configuration

12. Configure vSphere HA and vSphere DRS for a stretched cluster

13. Configure and run a script to automate ESXi host installation

14. Infrastructure Recoverability

15. VMware vSphere Update Manager to apply patches and perform basic troubleshooting of ESXI hosts, virtual machines, and vCenter Server operations

16. Configure and deploy VMware NSX components for management and control

17. Configure VMware NSX layer 2 networking
