Position: HVAC Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on HVAC systems and

equipment.

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain air conditioning, ventilation,

refrigeration, and heating systems.

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on chillers, split units, package units, FCUs,

AHUs, VRF/VRV systems, and ventilation equipment.

• Monitor HVAC system performance and recommend improvements to optimise efficiency.

• Conduct routine inspections and ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.

• Replace defective components, including motors, compressors, valves, filters, belts,

thermostats, and electrical controls.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and preventive maintenance

schedules.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in a timely manner.

• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance teams to minimise downtime and ensure

uninterrupted facility operations.

• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and service requests.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, or a

related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance, preferably within facility

management, commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, or large residential complexes.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, electrical controls, and

mechanical equipment.

• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults independently.

• Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency breakdowns.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Valid Kuwait driving licence is an advantage.

Eligibility

• Candidates must be currently available in Kuwait.

• Immediate joiners will be given priority.

• Must possess a transferable residency (Article 18) in accordance with Kuwait labour

regulations.
