Job Description: IT Technical Support Specialist

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced IT Technical Support Specialist with a strong background in system administration, network management, and IT service management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in IT support, with the ability to manage and maintain a secure and efficient IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• User and Network Management: Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and network access. Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.

• Security and Maintenance: Uphold and test security measures, block unauthorized access, and develop maintenance plans to prevent system failures. Manage firewall, antivirus, and security protocols.

• System Configuration and Performance Monitoring: Configure computer systems to meet business goals, monitor daily performance, and ensure seamless operation with other systems.

• Equipment Management: Update and maintain inventory of IT equipment, ensure smooth operation of LAN/WAN, CCTV, VoIP, biometric, and AV systems, and resolve hardware and connectivity issues.

• Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical problems, oversee system upgrades, and implement new applications and infrastructure projects.

• Support and Training: Provide third- line support for complex issues, assist in technical upgrades, and train staff in hardware and software use.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with WAN, LAN, TCP, VPN, firewall management, VMs, and cloud services. Familiarity with IoT devices, Dynamics 365, and Office 365 is preferred.

• Certifications: MCSA, MCPS, ITIL, and CCNA certifications are highly desirable.

• Project Leadership: Proven experience leading IT projects, including system upgrades and infrastructure enhancements.

• Vendor Management: Skilled in coordinating with vendors and managing IT service teams.

• Security Expertise: Strong background in cybersecurity, threat analysis, and ITIL best practices.

• Problem- Solving: Ability to swiftly resolve critical IT issues and optimize system performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of IT Technical Support experience.

• Valid driving license.

• Transferable visa.

• Immediate availability or within 1 month.
