Workshop Manager – Steel Fabrication & Business Development

Location: Mina Abdullah Area - Kuwait

About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic leader to take full ownership of our Steel Fabrication Workshop. This is not just an operational role; it is a strategic position where you will drive

production efficiency and lead business growth. You will have the authority to manage the workshop, lead the team, and actively expand our market share in the Oil & Gas, Civil, and Industrial

sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Growth: Proactively identify new opportunities, build relationships with key clients (Oil & Gas, Ministries, Contractors), and lead the preparation of competitive bids and proposals.

• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily fabrication activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of supervisors, welders, and fitters, fostering a culture of safety, cleanliness, and high performance.

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute plans to increase workshop capacity, improve profitability, and expand service offerings.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Experience: 10+ years in steel fabrication, with at least 5 years in a managerial role involving both operations and business development.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Skills: Strong ability in pricing, costing, and reading technical drawings. Proven track record in securing projects and managing client relationships in Kuwait.

• Mindset: An entrepreneurial approach with the ability to work independently and drive results.
