Position Overview: As a Sales Manager - Business Development & Account Management you will spearhead our efforts to drive revenue growth and market expansion. With a primary focus on new customer acquisition, contract negotiations, and team building, you will play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for our success. Through strategic planning, relationship building, and effective leadership, you will help establish the company as a dominant player in the online food delivery and marketplace sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Customer Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to acquire new restaurants, food vendors, and suppliers, expanding our platform's offerings and geographic reach.
2. Contract Negotiations: Lead negotiations with potential partners, securing favorable terms and agreements that align with our business objectives and growth targets.
3. Team Building: Recruit, onboard, and train a high- performing sales team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their success and professional development.
4. Market Expansion: Identify and prioritize target markets for expansion, conducting market research and analysis to inform strategic decision- making.
5. Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including restaurant owners, chefs, and suppliers, fostering trust, loyalty, and long- term partnerships.
6. Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, building strong relationships and ensuring their satisfaction and success.
7. Proactively address partner needs, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross- selling.
8. Retention Strategies: Develop and implement retention strategies to minimize churn and maximize partner lifetime value.
9. Analyze usage data and feedback to identify trends, anticipate needs, and deliver value- added services to partners.
10. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics, and campaigns to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and achieve sales targets.
11. Performance Tracking: Monitor sales metrics, track progress against targets, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales performance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven track record of success in sales or business development roles, preferably within the food delivery, e- commerce, or technology sectors.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and drive revenue growth.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to recruit, motivate, and develop a high- performing sales team.
• Strategic thinker with a results- oriented mindset and a passion for driving business success.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast- paced, startup environment and willingness to take on new challenges.
