Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook traditional Kuwaiti and Arabic dishes according to restaurant standards.
Supervise and train junior cooks and kitchen assistants.
Ensure food is prepared on time and meets quality, taste, and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen area.
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the Head Chef.
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
Assist in menu planning and recipe development when required.
Ensure consistency in food quality and portion control.
Work closely with the service team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cook in a restaurant (preferably Kuwaiti or Arabic cuisine).
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, ingredients, and traditional dishes.
Ability to manage time and work under pressure.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic understanding of food costing and portion control.
Ability to maintain high hygiene standards.
