We are a Plastic Manufacturing facility in Kuwait, specialized in producing (PE Shopping bags/Garbage bags/Table sheets and other HD/LD bags, along with PP Raffia bags , Flexo Printing, wickets, and PP cement bags), we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a hands- on experience in maintenance in plastic industries in same field, to join our team and lead the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance programs across our lines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and execute daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance schedules for machinery, vehicles, and infrastructure.

- Ensure the proper functioning of fire alarm and firefighting systems at all sites.

- Oversee and follow up on the work of external maintenance contractors, ensuring quality and compliance.

- Coordinate closely with the Procurement Department regarding spare parts and equipment.

- Maintain accurate technical records and machine files, including maintenance logs, spare parts data, and calibration documentation.

- Participate in solving technical issues, installing new equipment, and rebuilding existing machines when required.

- Monitor spare parts inventory levels and prepare purchase requests accordingly.

- Prepare regular maintenance performance reports and recommend improvements.

- Ensure full compliance with quality standards, occupational health and safety regulations, and industrial security procedures.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

- 5–8 years of relevant experience in maintenance within a blown film plastic industrial environment.

- Strong technical, analytical, and supervisory skills with the ability to make sound decisions.

- Excellent teamwork, reporting skills, and communication abilities.

- Proficiency in computer systems and maintenance reporting tools.

- Fluency in English
