Position Overview

We are seeking a detail- oriented Maintenance Pricing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and commercial pricing for preventive and corrective maintenance contracts across mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Estimation & Pricing

Prepare detailed cost estimates for maintenance contracts.

Perform quantity take- offs from drawings and technical documents.

Develop pricing models covering labor, materials, equipment, overheads, and profit margins.

Prepare commercial proposals and tender submissions.

Technical Evaluation

Review maintenance scopes, specifications, BOQs, and service agreements.

Assess site conditions and resource requirements.

Coordinate with engineering teams to validate pricing and execution methodologies.

Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.

Tender & Client Support

Attend pre- bid meetings and site visits.

Respond to tender clarification requests from clients.

Support commercial negotiations and contract finalization.

Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.

Documentation & Reporting

Ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards.

Maintain records of estimates, quotations, and contract documentation.

Monitor project profitability and prepare variance analyses.

Update cost databases and historical pricing records.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.

Experience

3–5 years of experience in maintenance costing and pricing.

Experience with Kuwait government and oil sector maintenance contracts.

Proven experience pricing multidisciplinary maintenance projects.

Familiarity with Kuwait's tendering and procurement procedures.

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Experience using AutoCAD or similar software for quantity take- offs.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications.

Strong understanding of maintenance practices and industry standards.

Personal Skills

Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Self- motivated and capable of working independently.
