Responsibilities:

Designing, implementing, and maintaining PHP- based applications

Contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle

Familiarity with designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs

In- depth knowledge and hands- on experience with PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter

Writing testable, scalable, and efficient code

Testing and debugging new applications and updates

Maintaining up- to- date code documentation

Proficiency with version control systems like Git

Actively participating in code reviews to ensure best practices

Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)

Understanding and applying principles of object- oriented programming (OOP)

Knowledge of microservices architecture and its principles

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in PHP development

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Transferable residency and currently available in Kuwait
