Position: PPF Technician (Paint Protection Film Technician)

Job Summary

The PPF Technician is responsible for the professional installation, removal, repair, and maintenance of paint protection film on customer vehicles. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and proper handling of vehicles to ensure high- quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Install Paint Protection Film (PPF) on vehicle body panels, including hood, bumper, fenders, doors, mirrors, roof, and other required areas.

Prepare vehicle surfaces before installation by washing, decontaminating, polishing, and ensuring the surface is free from dust, oil, and defects.

Cut, trim, and apply PPF accurately according to vehicle specifications and company standards.

Use hand tools, heat guns, squeegees, knives, and other equipment safely and effectively.

Inspect completed work for bubbles, lifting edges, misalignment, wrinkles, or defects.

Perform removal and replacement of damaged or old PPF when required.

Coordinate with supervisors and quality control staff for final inspection before vehicle release.

Immediately report any damage, mistakes, or issues to the supervisor.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.

Follow company safety procedures and protect customer vehicles at all times.

Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience in PPF installation preferred

Knowledge of vehicle body surfaces and detailing procedures

Good hand- eye coordination and attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Knowledge of proper use of installation tools and materials

Strong responsibility and reporting discipline
