Core Job Description

This position is exclusive for the ongoing school construction project in Kuwait. The candidate shall provide complete and compliant documents that meet the access standards of Kuwait Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) and the local engineering industry. The candidate must fully cooperate with government interviews, qualification verification, work approval and visa filing procedures to ensure legal and compliant employment in line with Kuwait’s management regulations for foreign engineers.

 Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the calculation, review and statistics of engineering quantities throughout the project cycle, accurately calculate the quantities of civil engineering, supporting facilities and other sub- projects, ensure zero data error, and provide accurate data support for project budgeting, progress settlement and final settlement.

2. Proficient in AutoCAD drawing reading and analysis, decompose engineering quantities from construction drawings, compile, update and verify the bill of quantities in accordance with construction drawings, construction plans and on- site construction conditions.

3. Responsible for the quantity calculation of on- site engineering changes, visas and new construction contents, complete data summary and ledger update in a timely manner, and coordinate with construction, supervision and the owner for verification and confirmation.

4. Prepare monthly, phased and final engineering quantity reports, sort out measurement documents and drawing archives, ensure complete and standardized materials to meet project filing and government review & filing requirements.

5. Cooperate with project bidding, cost control, progress payment application and other related work, assist in engineering measurement reconciliation and settlement task.

6. Communicate and coordinate with local Kuwaiti partners, supervisors and government departments, complete bilingual document docking and communication, and cooperate with all official reviews and government interview verification.

 Job Requirements (Including Government Approval )

1.Education & Professional Qualification

(1)Bachelor degree or above, major in Civil Engineering, Engineering Cost, Engineering Measurement or related fields. The academic certificate can pass official Kuwait certification and verification, meeting the access standards for local engineering technical positions.

(2)Possess formal professional qualifications in engineering measurement and cost. Overseas engineering project measurement experience is preferred. Work resume must be authentic and verifiable to pass Kuwait government background check.

(3)No bad employment record and no criminal record. Able to provide qualified non- criminal certificate and physical examination report to meet the entry approval requirements for foreign employees in Kuwait.

2.Technical Hard Requirements

(1)Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Arabic (speaking, reading and writing). Capable of independently preparing bilingual documents, conducting on- site bilingual communication and responding to official government interviews with smooth communication with local government and partners.

(2)Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, able to accurately read drawings, extract drawing data and verify engineering quantities. Skilled in office and engineering measurement software, capable of independently completing quantity calculation and report compilation.

(3)Professional Competence: Proficient in construction quantity calculation rules, familiar with measurement standards of Kuwait infrastructure and school public construction projects. Familiarity with local Kuwait engineering measurement specifications is preferred, with the ability to complete full- set measurement work independently.

3.Work Experience

1. At least 4 years of working experience in construction quantity surveyor and engineering cost. Experience in Kuwait engineering projects and public school construction projects is preferred.

2. Familiar with Kuwait project QS procedures, price variation and settlement processes, able to adapt to Kuwait project work rhythm and independently complete all job duties.If you are intersteed send your CV：
