Required Junior Accountant

Position Overview:

The Junior Accountant is responsible for assisting in the day- to- day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the Chief Accountant in financial reporting. This role ensures compliance with company policies and contributes to the overall efficiency of the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

o Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system payments, and receipts.

o Reconciling accounts payable and receivable.

o Reconcile bank statements with company records to ensure accuracy.

o Assist in recording production costs and identifying variances.

o Maintain organized and up- to- date financial records, both physical and digital.

o Ensure compliance with internal policies and local regulations.

o Assist in processing payments to vendors and follow up on outstanding receivables from clients.

o Maintain accurate records of supplier invoices and payment schedules.

o Record expense from various departments.

o Identify and report any unusual or high expenses to the Chief Accountant.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: 1- 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role (preferred).

o Proficiency in accounting software (SAB & Oracle Hospitality experience is preferred).

o Strong Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.

o High attention to detail and organizational skills.

o Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

o Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
