RESERVATION AGENT Open Position

Job Title: Reservation Agent – Hotel Apartments (Kuwait)
Job Summary:
The Reservation Agent is responsible for handling all room and long- stay apartment bookings, ensuring accurate reservations and excellent customer service. The role focuses on maximizing occupancy and revenue by managing inquiries from corporate clients, families, and long- stay guests, which are key segments in Kuwait’s hotel apartment market.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle all reservation inquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and online platforms
Process bookings for daily, weekly, and monthly stays accurately in the system
Manage corporate bookings, long- stay contracts, and government reservations
Coordinate with Sales team for company agreements and negotiated rates
Upsell higher room categories and promote special offers
Maintain accurate records of bookings, cancellations, and guest preferences
Monitor availability and update rates based on demand and seasonality
Assist walk- in guests and provide detailed information about apartment types and facilities
Coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure readiness of units
Handle amendments, cancellations, and special requests professionally
Ensure compliance with Kuwait regulations (e.g., guest documentation, civil ID requirements)
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field
Minimum 1–3 years experience in reservations or front office (hotel apartments preferred)
Experience in handling long- stay guests and corporate bookings
Proficiency in hotel systems (e.g., Opera, PMS systems, booking platforms)
Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage
Strong knowledge of OTA platforms (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.)
Key Skills:
Strong communication and customer service skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in bookings
Sales and upselling ability
Time management and multitasking
Problem- solving and handling guest requests
Working Conditions:
Shift- based role (including weekends and holidays)
High interaction with clients and internal departments
Fast- paced environment, especially during peak seasons and events
Preferred Candidate Profile (Kuwait Market):
Experience working with corporate companies, embassies, and relocation clients
Familiar with Kuwait market demand (expats, project- based stays, medical tourism)
Ability to handle long- term stay negotiations and pricing flexibility
Understanding of local customer expectations and service standards
