Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders.

Evaluate and treat patients with digestive system diseases, including disorders of the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.

Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.

Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on evidence- based practices.

Provide consultation services for inpatient and outpatient cases.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Supervise and support junior medical staff as required.

Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education activities.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and patient safety standards.

Requirements:

MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.

Board Certification, DM, CCT, Arab Board, European Board, American Board, or an equivalent recognized qualification in Gastroenterology.

Valid MOH License in Kuwait (mandatory).

Currently residing in Kuwait (applications from within Kuwait only).

Valid professional and educational certificates.

Minimum 8–10 years of post- specialization experience in Gastroenterology, preferably in a hospital setting.

Proven expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.

Strong clinical, leadership, and decision- making skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
