Sales Consultant for Car Paint

A leading Automotive Paints Company in Kuwait is seeking an experienced, qualified Sales Representative and closer with an outstanding success rate that will generate sales of our Automotive Aftermarket Products (Paints & Bodyshop Consumables products) for use in Automotive Bodyshop and related field by calling upon prospects and supporting existing customers. The position reports to the Division Manager.

The Sales Representative should be able to achieve maximum sales (according to sales target sets), profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services. Personally, contacts and secures new business accounts/customers.

Details of Function:

1. Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship- based approach.

2. Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.

3. Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization’s products.

4. Deliver goods to customers as need be and collect all the overdue accounts.

5. Develop clear and effectively written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.

6. Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customer’s value to the organization.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

The individual must be a positive thinker, loyal and trustworthy. Attributes of flexibility, creativity, self- discipline, strong organizational skills and action- orientation are essential for this role, as the position offers a significant amount of responsibility with accountability for results. A sales orientation with strong communication and customer service skills is essential. Applicant must have strong sales skills, but also be willing and able to “roll- up the shirt sleeves” to provide service when needed. The successful applicant should have the desire and ability to support the building of the business and to grow in responsibility as the Company grows.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:

- The successful applicant must have Minimum 5 years’ experience in the same field, contacts, and understanding of the sales and service of Automotive Aftermarket products (Paints & Bodyshop Consumables).

- Must have a valid Kuwait driving license.

- Transferable residency

- Must be results- orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.

- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
