The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the premises, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring the facility, conducting routine security checks, controlling access points, and responding to emergencies. The Security Guard ensures that the security protocols are followed, and provides a secure environment for everyone in the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Surveillance and Monitoring:

Monitor security cameras, alarms, and other surveillance equipment to detect and report suspicious activities.

Patrol assigned areas to ensure the premises are secure, and check for any security breaches or safety hazards.

Report any irregularities, incidents, or potential security risks to the management.

Access Control:

Check identification and access credentials of visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors entering and exiting the building.

Maintain logs of visitors, deliveries, and other access- related activities.

Ensure restricted areas are properly secured and monitored.

Incident Response:

Respond quickly to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious activities by assessing the situation and taking appropriate action.

Provide first aid or emergency assistance if required and ensure emergency services are contacted when necessary.

Write detailed reports of incidents, accidents, and disturbances.

Customer Service:

Greet visitors and provide directions, ensuring a professional and courteous demeanor.

Offer assistance to employees, guests, or anyone on the premises, maintaining a friendly yet vigilant approach.

Patrol and Inspections:

Conduct routine foot or vehicle patrols throughout the premises, including parking lots, building entrances, and other critical areas.

Inspect doors, windows, and locks to ensure they are secured and properly maintained.

Identify potential safety hazards or violations of company policies.

Fire and Safety Procedures:

Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and assist in the operation of fire safety equipment if needed.

Monitor fire alarms, emergency exits, and ensure fire safety procedures are understood and followed
