An upcoming and growing Construction cum Logsitics Company (Inner Works) is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Finance Team. Innerworks provides a challenging and learning environment to grow and perform your best.

Position Details : Senior Accountant

• Daily generation of invoices & posting of company’s activity

• Review and record daily cash/check receipts

• Prepare daily reconciliation of Knet, Upay (Link collection) and cash collected by operation department against bank statement and details of Upay details.

• Track past due invoices and follow up with customers accordingly.

• Monthly generation of invoices & posting of charter activity

• Responsible for faxing/emailing customer’s requested documentation (invoices, credit memo’s and/or other statements)

• Monitor contracts to ensure the billings are appropriate and accurate

• Ensure internal revenue recognition and procedures are consistent with IFRS and the companies defined policies

• Participate in development, implementation, and maintenance of AR policies and procedures, as well as new technology in order to establish increased department efficiency

• Resolve financial discrepancies and locate areas of revenue loss within a company, while also identifying new opportunities for growth

• Provide ad- hoc assistance to other positions within the department

Knowledge/Skills/Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.

• Minimum of 5- 7 years’ experience in accounting field

• Experience with financial reporting requirements

• Proficiency in Excel and financial package (Experience in Odoo system will be a plus)

• Effective communication skills

• Excellent in Data Analytics

• Need to have transferable visa (18)

Candidates who can join immediately or on short notice will be a huge plus. The job is based in Sharq, Kuwait City. Working hours are from 9am to 5pm, 5 days a week. (Saturdays based on business requirement).
