We Are Hiring – Senior Accountant (Bilingual)

City Hypermarket is seeking an experienced and detail- oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in retail, hypermarket, FMCG, or fresh food operations, with expertise in financial reporting, inventory control, cost analysis, budgeting, and ERP - SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Manage general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and provisions.

Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash transactions.

Perform inventory valuation and reconciliation for Hypermarket and Fresh Food departments.

Analyze inventory variances, stock adjustments, shrinkage, and wastage.

Monitor Fresh Food costs, food margins, and department profitability.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Prepare management reports and financial analysis for decision- making.

Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company policies.

Coordinate with Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Department Managers.

Support ERP system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience.

Experience in Hypermarket, Retail, FMCG, or Fresh Food operations is preferred.

Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and cost control.

Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Excellent analytical and reporting skills.

Fluent in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
