We are looking to hire a Senior Piping Mechanical Engineer for a chemical plant project

Location : Shuaiba Industrial Area

Hours : Not less than 48 hours per week

Role Summary

Conduct site visits and inspections for the mechanical, especially the piping scope to ensure project requirements are met.

Manage and supervise the works performed by subcontractors

Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high- quality piping systems.

Develop and implement project schedules and budgets.

Identify and mitigate project risks.

Coordinate with subcontractors, and vendors.

Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate.

Participate in project meetings and provide technical input.

Review and approve material and equipment selections.

Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.

Provide support during construction and commissioning phases.

Prepare technical reports and presentations.

Ensure quality control and assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Combined on- site and site office works

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

5- 10 years of experience in piping works in a plant

Minimum of 2- 3 years’ experience in KOC/KNPC projects essential

Experience in supervising piping works in bioethanol/chemical plant

Excellent communication skills in English

Valid transferable residency and driving license

Available to start immediately or on short notice
