Job Responsibilities:

The Automotive Parts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the parts department, meeting sales and inventory goals, and ensuring high- quality service to customers. Key duties include:

Setting departmental goals and working towards them.

Hiring, training, and managing parts department staff.

Managing inventory to meet service department and customer needs.

Establishing pricing strategies for various customer categories.

Monitoring sales, inventory turnover, and minimizing obsolescence.

Supervising parts ordering and stock levels.

Ensuring effective communication between departments (service, body shop, etc.).

Developing and administering a wholesale parts program.

Managing customer relations, including handling complaints and ensuring satisfaction.

Overseeing safety protocols and regulatory compliance.

Participating in management meetings and other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

Ability to handle sales promotions and track inventory effectively.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Ability to ensure timely processing of orders and paperwork.

Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and federal/state laws
