Tandoor & Curry Chef – Indian Restaurant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tandoor & Curry Chef to join our Indian restaurant team immediately. The candidate should have strong knowledge of authentic Indian cuisine, especially tandoor dishes and traditional curries.

Responsibilities

* Prepare and cook a variety of Indian curries, gravies, and tandoor items

* Operate and manage the tandoor oven safely and efficiently

* Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of dishes

* Prepare marinades, sauces, and spice mixes

* Monitor food stock and kitchen inventory

* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen

* Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

* Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef or Curry Chef in an Indian restaurant

* Strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and recipes

* Ability to prepare naan, kebabs, tikka, tandoori dishes, and Indian curries

* Ability to work under pressure in a fast- paced kitchen

* Good teamwork and time management skills

* Immediate joiners preferred
