Job Title: Tender Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

Rakan Engineering General Trading & Contracting LLC is seeking a highly experienced Tender Civil Engineer with 10–15 years of proven experience in managing the full tendering lifecycle for civil construction projects. The candidate must be capable of independently handling the complete tender process from initial review to final submission, including coordination with MEP services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete tendering process from tender invitation to award

• Review drawings, BOQ, specifications, and contract conditions

• Prepare detailed quantity take- offs and cost estimates

• Coordinate with MEP engineers (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) to ensure full scope integration and accurate pricing

• Ensure proper coordination between civil and MEP services during tender stage

• Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors for quotations

• Conduct technical and commercial analysis of bids

• Prepare technical proposals, method statements, and clarifications

• Attend pre- bid meetings and site visits

• Ensure compliance with client requirements and submission deadlines

• Support post- tender negotiations and contract finalization

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

• 10–15 years of experience in civil construction and tendering

• Strong knowledge of estimation, pricing, and contract administration

• Experience in coordinating civil works with MEP services

• Familiarity with local market rates and government tenders is preferred

• Proficiency in MS Office and estimation software

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
