Experience should be 4- 5 Years in structural field of works.

Oversee and lead the detailing team in the production of high- quality structural steel fabrication drawings and 3D models. Ensure technical accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards and client specifications. Act as a technical expert and mentor within the engineering department.

• Lead and manage the detailing team, providing technical guidance and overseeing project execution

• Review and approve 3D models and shop drawings before client submission

• Collaborate with the Acting Engineering Manager (Technical) to align detailing processes with overall engineering strategies

• Develop and implement best practices and standards for structural steel detailing

• Conduct quality checks on complex projects and resolve intricate technical issues

• Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to clarify design intent and resolve conflicts

• Mentor and train junior detailing engineers and draftsmen to enhance team capabilities

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and software to improve detailing efficiency

• Contribute to project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling for detailing work

• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications

• Participate in project kick- off meetings and design reviews to provide detailing perspective

• Collaborate with other departments to optimize the transition from detailing to fabrication

• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in structural steel detailing and fabrication
