Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced accountant with a strong background in the food and beverage (F&B) industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in accounting within the F&B industry, deep understanding inventory management, recording, reporting and excellent attention to detail, technological skills, and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day- to- day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

• Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring proper valuation and reporting of stock levels.

• Oversee inventory management processes, including tracking, ordering, and reporting on inventory turnover and discrepancies.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate reporting and analysis of financial data related to sales, costs, and profitability.

• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations

• Stay up- to- date with industry trends and best practices in F&B accounting

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.

• Proficiency in using accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant technologies.

• Strong knowledge of inventory counting and inventory management processes.

• Proficient in inventory management systems.

• Proficiency in relevant software and technology applications.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast- paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Communication Skills:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Knowing Arabic language would be an added advantage.

Work Experience:

Minimum of two years of accounting experience in the food and beverage industry.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
