Key Responsibilities:

Routine Maintenance & Repairs:

Perform regular inspections and maintenance of store equipment (e.g., refrigerators, HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing, etc.) to ensure they are in proper working condition.

Troubleshoot and repair any issues with electrical, mechanical, or plumbing systems in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

Store Equipment Management:

Install and maintain store fixtures such as shelving, point- of- sale (POS) systems, signage, and security systems.

Monitor and address malfunctions in cooling systems for perishable items and repair any refrigeration- related issues.

Emergency Repairs:

Respond quickly to emergency calls for repairs that could affect store operations or safety, such as power outages, plumbing leaks, or equipment breakdowns.

Preventive Maintenance:

Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule to reduce the likelihood of equipment failures.

Maintain records of equipment performance and all maintenance activities.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Adhere to local building codes, fire regulations, and store- specific operational guidelines.

Vendor Coordination:

Coordinate with external service providers and contractors for more specialized repairs or major installations that fall outside the in- house technician's scope.

Inventory Management:

Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and reorder materials as necessary.

Ensure that tools and maintenance equipment are stored properly and in good condition
